Sound Engineer Paid Internship
dba256 Bar & Gallery is a great local venue focusing on great selection of craft & local beer, full wine line-up, with Art Gallery and Live Music
We are looking for a creative, innovative and active Audio Engineer/Sound Staff Intern to join our team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, setting up and maintaining audio gear, equipment, as well as working with promoters, bands, artists and other musicians.
ELIGIBILITY:
Must be 21 years and older
Available for weekends; 8pm - 1am. Ok if not ALL weekend dates (Thur-Sun)
Must be able to follow instructions very closely, including the application instruction below
Practical experience with setting up sounds at recording studios and/or music venue
Familiarity with audio mixing consoles, microphones, speakers and other audio equipment
Sound troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Passion for all genres of music
Professional/friendly communication with promoters, bands, artists and other musicians
JOB DUTIES:
Set up and assist music events
Make sure the events are handled smoothly
Maintain music quality by properly controlling and enhancing audio through audio mixer
Lights, ambient music, etc
